Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is a moderate adventure trekking route in the Himalayas and the best trekking route to see the mountain lives, ethnic diversity, terraced farmlands, the Charming Gurung village, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. We offer a package of ABC trek which is an excellent introduction to trekking in the magnificent mountains of Nepal. After visiting the world heritage in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, and enjoying the fresh atmosphere of the Fewa Lake in Pokhara, we begin the trekking at Nayapul where is 1.5 hours driving from Pokhara. During the trekking, we go through the beautiful rhododendron forests (which bloom in red and pink in March & April), follow the Modi River (which carries the icy water from the snow mountains), and see closely Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli and Fishtail (the sacred mountain queen). After admiring the beautiful sunrise with 14 snow-mountain peaks like Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) and Mt. Manaslu (8163m) in Poonhill, you can see a breathtaking sunrise again in ABC – a 360-degree snow-mountain view with the Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world, just in front of you. At the end of the trekking, you can enjoy natural hot spring in Jhinu if you like.
