KCL Astute Capital Limited (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company'/'KCL Astute') is a Merchant Banker licensed by Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to render Portfolio Management Services (PMS). The Company is situated at Hattisar-01, Kathmandu, Nepal. The Company commenced its commercial activities as Astute Management Holdings Private Limited from 10th Kartik, 2072 (27th Oct, 2015) with an objective to be a leader in the field of Investment Banking. The Company was formerly incorporated as Private Limited Company with the Office of Company Registrar, Nepal. On 24th Magh, 2073 (6th Feb, 2017), the company was converted to Public Limited Company and obtained the permission for commercial operations on 27th Falgun, 2073 (10th Mar, 2017). Later its second Annual General Meeting dated 30th Bhadra, 2074 (15th Sep, 2017) passed resolution to allow Kathmandu Capital Limited to hold 51% stake in the company and amend the name to KCL Astute Capital Limited. The same is recorded with Show more Office of the Company Registrar on 30th Kartik, 2074 (17th Nov, 2017). The Company obtained Merchant Banking License from securities regulator, SEBON to render Portfolio Management Services on 20th Ashadh, 2075 (4th Jul, 2018). Award and Certification: The company attained ACCA Approved Employer-Trainee Development, Gold status in recognition of the support provided to ACCA trainees working towards the ACCA qualification on 29th Jestha, 2074 (12th Jun, 2017) from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. KCL Astute is one of the few corporate to receive this designation in the Nepalese market.
