Khopra ridge community trekking trail is a recently open trekking trail in western development region of Nepal. The community trail covered some part of Ghorepani Ghandruk trekking route. Ridge community trail is untouched nature, gifted of high altitude trail, caring and family operate local lodges with the backdrop views of majestic snowcapped Himalayan ranges. This is what an adventure seeker awaits on this community trek. Along the trekking trail, some of the lodges are often located on an edge. So you can enjoy the sunset views over Himalayan setting from your lodge where you stay overnight. Besides the views of Himalayas, you will get an opportunity to explore authentic lifestyle of locals residing, and local culture, enjoy organic cousins and many more. First day of your trip is starting from sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley at UNESCO world heritage sites. Where you will explore ancient art, culture, a historical monument with the open-air leaving museum. Then you will drive or flight to the city of a lake “Pokhara.” The mountains are waiting for you to welcome in this city. Our trekking will start around 1 hr. Drive to Nayapool from Pokhara. Then trekking trail gently ascends with lots of ups and downs towards Ghandruk, Tadpani, Dobato, Bayeli, and Khopra Danda Respectively. After reaching Danda, we descend to Tatopani, Nayapoul and onward to Pokhara. Those small beautiful villages are inter-links with our trek route. Which is reach in traditional culture, the local lifestyle of ethnic people like, Gurung and Magar. Along the trail, we encounter dense Rhododendron forest full of different species of birds, flora, and fauna as well as a wild orchid. Besides all of these, we will enjoy watching and listening to bird sounds with backdrop views of different Himalayan ranges.
