About Louis Widmer
Louis-Edouard Widmer and his son Louis-Max Widmer devised this slogan when they set up Louis Widmer SA in September 1960. And yet why did they dedicate their life’s work to the skin? The founders of the company were fascinated by the unique complexity of the largest human organ and its innumerable elementary functions, a fascination that still characterises the entire company today and finds expression again and again in innovative products for the skin. The company’s continuously growing success and expansion through subsidiaries also means that staff numbers have increased. The 1960s three-man operation has grown into an international company with more than 250 staff members.
