Mandala Yoga Retreat is a branch of the well known and much beloved Mandala Studio Yoga & Spa. We opened our first Mandala Studio in the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel. As much as we love the colourful business of the tourist center, we know our clients, students and fellow seekers need an option of a serene retreat in the beautiful nature of Nepal.Our location offers the best you can hope for. We are located at the foothills in Chandragiri, a 30-minute drive from Thamel. We sit cosily between two hills at 2200 meters above sea level in Chandragiri Municipality. Our location guarantees you peace and silence, stunning views of Kathmandu Valley as well as the Himalayan ranges of Annapurna and other mountains. What is quite incredible is that after only 3-4 hours of hiking, you can see Mount Everest! Especially in the winter season, when the Kathmandu valley is fully covered with clouds, we gaze down from the resort feeling like we share the skies with Gods.
