About Saarathi Nepal
Saarathi Nepal, officially bound in 2005, is a community based non-profit organization that provides services to people living with HIV, AIDS and individuals suffering from drug addiction. From 1st May 2009, the organization has been acting as \"Social Support Unit\" for the implementation of Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program (MMTP). The program is being run in collaboration with Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) and the overall program is mentored by the Drug Control Programme/Ministry of Home Affairs and National Center for AIDS and STI Control (NCASC)/Ministry of Health and Population.
