I don't usually write reviews, but I had to provide a shout-out to the Delta Airlines Tokyo Office for absolutely fantastic service. I had to make some complex alterations to my multi-leg international itinerary because of a family crisis. After attempting to sort things out online and over the phone (which was useful, but laborious because of time zones), I went into their Tokyo branch. As soon as I entered, I was treated with professionalism and kindness. The employees were attentive, patient, and proactive. They assisted me not only in rebooking but also waived part of the change fees after listening to my case. They even provided water while I waited! The rep, Ms. Sato, was particularly thoughtful and diligent—in fact, she even printed all the new itineraries out and circled the time of each segment. I thoroughly loved the personalization. What made the most positive impression, however, was the ease with which they facilitated the whole experience. In our increasingly automated age of customer service via robots, how lovely to get to speak with actual, gracious humans who seemingly take joy in assisting individuals. Thanks, Delta Tokyo team!
